Messages
List, read, and delete messages inside the selected inbox. IDs never grant access by themselves.
GET /messages
Requires a current-inbox cookie. Returns data.items and data.pagination. An empty array means no messages yet. Poll every 5 seconds or slower.
| Field / endpoint | Details |
|---|---|
| limit | Optional integer, 1–100; default 20. |
| offset | Optional integer, minimum 0; default 0. |
| pagination.has_more | Advance offset by limit while true. |
| items[] | id, from, subject, received_at (UTC RFC3339), status (pending, ready, failed). |
curl --fail-with-body -sS -b cookies.txt \
'https://inboxflick.com/v1/messages?limit=20&offset=0'GET /messages/{message_id}
Use an id returned by this inbox’s message list. The response is under data.message and adds text_body and html_body. A message outside the selected inbox returns 404. Wait until status is ready before expecting the body. Prefer text_body for automated assertions. html_body is sanitized, but clients must still use an isolated renderer and must not insert mail HTML directly into their application DOM.
curl --fail-with-body -sS -b cookies.txt \
'https://inboxflick.com/v1/messages/MESSAGE_ID'DELETE /messages/{message_id}
Deletes one message in the selected inbox. Returns 204 with no body. Another inbox’s message cannot be read or deleted with this cookie jar.
curl --fail-with-body -sS -b cookies.txt \
-X DELETE 'https://inboxflick.com/v1/messages/MESSAGE_ID'Supported capabilities
Receive only. The public free flow does not send or forward messages, provide raw MIME downloads, manage attachments, or extract verification codes. Extract assertions from text_body in your own trusted test code. Do not rely on an inbox for permanent account recovery.
